The simple process of creating a “mini-quilt” to insert in this insulated large acrylic cup allows for almost limitless creativity and a chance to explore color, design and fabric choices. Even experienced quilters will be pleased at the chance to finish a project quickly. Beginners also enjoy the easy success and learn some basic piecework techniques. They can do their own quilting without a long-arm quilting machine. The Quilt in a Cup makes a great project for sewing clubs and quilting guilds. The finished cups also make great gifts especially when the fabrics have some special significance such as the leftover fabric from making a bride or bridesmaid’s dress or the remains of a sports uniform (baseball, football, soccer, etc.). Everything needed is included except the fabric, glue, and a few hours available to indulge in some sewing FUN!
